The greatest wealth transfer in U.S. history is underway. A recent study from the Boston College Center on Wealth and Philanthropy projects $59 trillion will be passed down to heirs, charities and taxes between 2007 and 2061. GCFA and Vanco Develop Easy2Give – a giving app for The United Methodist Church

The General Council on Finance and Administration (GCFA), working in partnership with Vanco Services, LLC, has developed a convenient mobile-device app that will allow members and visitors to make donations to the church while they are at church or if they are away.   The app, called "Easy2Give", is now available as a free download for Android™ devices. The United Methodist Connectional Federal Credit Union (UMC FCU) is now accepting applications for the 2014 UMC FCU Scholarship. In an effort to include the UMC's many graduate students, the credit union has expanded the age eligibility to ages 17-35. The application must be received in UMC FCU offices by April 30, 2014. The North Georgia Conference has set up Fund Number 3743 to support the Conference Disaster Response for yesterday's storms. The title of this fund is Disaster Response - Tornado Winter 2013. Members can drop a check in any North Georgia UMC offering plate made out to the church with "Tornado Winter 2013" in memo line.
